Bayaban is for off-roaders who want to organise drives, stay connected with their clubs, record routes, and keep a useful record of completed trips.

Bayaban is currently for people aged 18 and over. It is available worldwide, subject to the laws and rules that apply where you are using it.

Create an account with your email address and password, then verify your email. The app may ask you to complete your profile before you can use all features.

Add your name, phone number, vehicle details, and any other information you are comfortable sharing. Your profile and social-handle visibility can be controlled in Privacy settings.

You can discover public clubs, request to join them, or join directly when the club allows it. Club organisers manage membership, roles, club rules, and club drives.

You can create a personal drive for yourself. A club drive can be created by a club member with the required organiser role, such as a founder, admin, or marshal where that club has granted the role permission.

Some clubs require drives to be reviewed before they are published. The drive organiser may need to wait for an authorised club person to approve it or return it for changes.

A personal drive is your own recording. A club drive is organised for a club and can include invitations, participants, attendance, roles, club rules, and organiser updates.

Open the drive, read the drive information and any applicable rules, then join if you are eligible. Some drives are invite-only or have a participant limit.

Attendance confirms who actually took part in a club drive. It helps keep the club’s participation history accurate and determines which completed club drives count as your completed drives.

From the Drives area, choose Start a personal drive now, or open an eligible club drive and start it there. Give the app the location permission it needs and keep your phone charged.

Yes. An active drive can continue recording when connectivity is weak or unavailable. The app keeps the information on your phone and tries to upload it when a connection returns.

The app may still be finishing the recording or sending the latest information. Keep the app open when possible, allow the save to finish, and check the drive again once it has completed syncing.

The drive is closed with its current status and record. An aborted drive is not treated as a completed drive, and it cannot be edited afterward.

Distance is calculated from the recorded location points that pass the app’s quality checks. Elevation is based on the available location and elevation readings. These figures can vary with satellite signal, terrain, weather, and the phone itself.

Bayaban keeps a copy of recent information on your phone so it can open faster and remain useful with limited connectivity. It then checks for newer information in the background.

Pulling down on a screen asks Bayaban to update the information for that screen. The update indicator stays visible until the refresh finishes or an error is shown.

Profile visibility controls who can see your profile details. Social-handle visibility controls who can see your Instagram handle. Club and drive information is also limited by membership, participation, invitations, roles, and the relevant club or drive rules.

Start account deletion from the account controls in the app. Account deletion is permanent. If you cannot access the app, email bayabanapp@gmail.com from your registered email address.

No. Safety and emergency features are communication aids only. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly and do not wait for Bayaban or another user to respond.
